What is Wireless Internet?
Fixed Wireless Internet is a method of delivering high-speed data utilizing a microwave (wireless) connection between two fixed points. “Wireless” simply means that your computer connects to our network via radio transmissions without a phone line or cable connection. The signal is transmitted from a tower that is close to your neighborhood.

Great Plains Communications, previously ETC’s Wireless Internet is an excellent choice for those wanting high-speed internet who live outside our traditional service territory. Will tree coverage at my home effect whether I will get service?
Tree coverage can hinder the ability to receive wireless signal; however, we utilize non-line of sight equipment, which allows the best chance of delivering service where obstructions are present. Your distance and orientation from our towers play a role in determining signal at your location. Our technicians will test the wireless signal at your location prior to completing your install.
What if I am unhappy with my new Wireless Internet?
We offer a 14-day money back Return Policy on our wireless service:
You may terminate your Wireless Internet service for any reason within 14 days of activation. To terminate service, you must return the equipment (including device, power cord, instructions, and any other components) in the ORIGINAL box to one of our offices (see office listings below). All merchandise must be in like-new condition. If you paid a security deposit, it may take between 30 and 60 days to process the return of your security deposit. The charges for any service used on the account before the service termination date may be applied against your security deposit.
At our discretion, we may decline your return or charge you a fee for a missing item, or for items that we determine are damaged or require service. If you return and we accept your merchandise within the return period, we will refund your activation fee and any usage. Under most circumstances, the company will not refund professional installation charges.
If we must remove installed equipment from a vehicle or fixed location in order to return or exchange it, you may be charged an additional service fee.
