Scam Alert: Spoofed ETC Billing Emails

Watch out for spoofed emails, emails that masked their true identity by appearing to be from a trustworthy source in order to trick the recipient.

An individual recently received this email. ETC did NOT send this email. See Below. ETC advises you to delete this email if you receive it.

This is a spoofed email. Delete this if you receive it.

ETC does send emails to ETC customers who have an email on file when their next bill is ready for review and payment. But the actual ETC email looks and reads differently than the above scam email. See below for the actual ETC email message regarding your next bill, which is safe to click on. (Please note the promotional offer at the bottom does vary each month.)
