Scam Alert: Spoofed Email Addresses 2

Watch out for spoofed email addresses which are email addresses that appear to come from a trustworthy source in order to trick the recipient.

For example, an ETC customer received the following message which appears to be from ETC.

ETC did NOT send this email message.

Please note the email address associated with Enhanced Telecommunications Corporation is not an ETC email address nor is the Reply To email address.  Furthermore, neither is the link below.

And with the two email addresses below, there were actual names listed which we have “x” out in order to protect those individuals should they be innocent and legitimate in this matter, of which, neither are ETC employees.

When in doubt contact the ETC office for assistance.
