Residential Bundle Terms & Conditions
Existing ETC customers with qualifying bundle services must call to activate youpick Bundle to receive youpick Bundle rate. Unlimited Long Distance subscribers who do not bundle with Local Phone service are not eligible for calling features. Additional individual service stipulations may apply.
New Customer Service Installation = FREE
Free installation is currently available on Local Telephone, Unlimited Long Distance, High Speed Internet, and Cable TV/Video. Free installation does not include cellular activation ($35.00 per phone) or Professional Internet installation ($75.00). New service installation also does not include installation for security/lifestyle support systems.
Existing Customer Bundle Upgrade Activation = FREE
Applies to any customer currently subscribing to one or more bundle services who wishes to add one or more ETC service(s) to their current package in order to become eligible for youpick Bundle pricing, or to upgrade current YOUPICK Bundle eligibility. The following services will be activated at no additional charge: Local Phone service, Unlimited Long Distance, High Speed Internet (Self Install Kit), TV/Video, Security Monitoring*. Cellular Activation Fee not included ($35.00). Professional DSL Installation fees not included = $75.00.
Existing Customer Bundle Conversion Activation = $20.00
Fee applies to any customer currently subscribing to at least three bundle services who DOES NOT wish to add one or more ETC services in order to upgrade current youpick Bundle eligibility. Fee includes activation charges for any combination of the following services: Local Phone service, Unlimited Long Distance, High Speed Internet (Self Install Kit), TV/Video, Security Monitoring*. Cellular Activation Fee not included ($35.00). Professional DSL Installation fees not included = $75.00.
Service Reconnect = $20.00 per service
A $20 fee will be assessed for reconnection of the following services: Local Phone, Long Distance, Cable TV/Video, Cellular service, High-Speed Internet, and Security Monitoring service.
Change of Location = FREE
Change of location on 1 or more services is free. If service must be relocated several times within a 1 year period, account processing charges may be assessed.
Drop Bundle Eligibility = $20.00
One-time fee applies when customer drops one or more services and becomes ineligible for a youpick Bundle, but does not completely drop service with ETC (keeps 1 or 2 services). This fee includes all customer account processing charges.
Change / Downgrade Bundle = $10.00
One-time fee applies when customer drops one or more services, or changes one or more services but remains eligible for a youpick Bundle (keeps 3 or more bundle services). This fee includes all customer account processing charges.
Unlimited Long Distance
The ETC unlimited long distance plan includes domestic direct dialed calls and calls to Canada only. All charges will appear on the same bill. Customers on Toll Control/Saver are not eligible. Available to residential and business customers in selected areas. Not all services are available on all lines. ETC retains the right to terminate this plan for a single account or all accounts without prior written notification. ETC unlimited plan will be subject to termination if service abuse occurs. Service abuse is defined as traffic other than voice and/or excessive use based on typical residential use. Accounts subject to termination due to abuse will be assessed a one time $15.00 penalty and $0.15 per minute for all calls during stated calling period.
Customers bundling local telephone service may choose up to 5 standard calling features. See "Calling Features" pages 8 and 11 for details on available features. Contact your local ETC office for more details about calling feature terms, conditions, and availability.
ETC 300 minute plan is included in bundle pricing when selected as a bundle service. This plan includes 300 anytime minutes, unlimited night (7pm) & weekend minutes, unlimited domestic long distance, and unlimited mobile to mobile. All additional phones added to customer account will be billed at regular cost. The 300 minute plan may be upgraded for additional cost.
