2012 Department of the Year

At the end of each calendar year, ETC’s individual staff members vote on a “Department of the Year.” There are no specific criteria a department must meet in order to be nominated for this award. From engineering, to billing, to our installation and repair crews, all departments are eligible. Employees are simply asked to vote for and explain the reason for selecting a specific department.

The 2012 recipient of ETC’s Department of the Year is the Network Operations group. Network Operations is largely responsible for the behind-the-scenes voice, video, data and wireless infrastructure that delivers experiential content to our subscribers. The group met with many successes, including launching the first-phase of the 4G wireless broadband product and introducing ETC services to Liberty, Indiana.
